The family cine films are all now on YouTube. If anyone wants the MP4 then I can send it. Unfortunately, the scanning service concatenated all the cine into one long 2 hour, 16 minute film which is impossible to split back into the original spools. Each spool is made of short segments anyway - hence it is just a big pile of content. I am trying to see if there is a way to unpick it with Jessops.

Here's the list of spool titles I made so the Jessops service could be costed. Good luck guessing where one starts and the next begins. They are not in order.

Ferraniacolor 2.75" slides

These are huge slides with the positive sandwiched between two pieces of glasswhich were falling apart. They must be from around 1960? The colour looks rusty and I've attempted to improve them a little -  Link to edited versions on Google Drive. Looks like they are taken somewhere in Wales and Lindum Avenue. Here's a link to the originals.

Scanned 35mm Slides

I quickly went through the slides by holding them up to the light an squinting at them. This allowed me to chuck away 75% of the slides of scenery and holiday snaps that no one would be interested in. The remainder, which largely include people, were scanned in by the Jessops scanning service.

I'm not terribly impressed with the quality - they are a bit washed out and blurry but I think some of the fault lies at the door of the original photographer and his equipment!

I have tried to improve the look of them a little and edit out the real crap -  Link to Edited Slides on Google Drive but they still look like something from a documentary on another era. Perhaps this is because they are from another era...

Of course, I've kept the originals which is possibly worth a scan through in case anyone wants the original file to edit and improve - Original files from Jessops slide scanning service
